Position Summary
The Senior Product Marketing Manager is tasked with leading strategic product management and market development initiatives for advanced power solutions in data center and AI applications, as well as emerging growth markets. This role focuses on gathering the Voice of Customer (VoC) and understanding specific customer requirements to inform product development. Key responsibilities include conducting market analysis, positioning products effectively, and developing pricing strategies. The manager ensures alignment with corporate growth objectives while driving customer engagement and competitive differentiation. Additionally, this position may involve the management of direct reports.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Engage directly with customers, from engineers to executive stakeholders to gather detailed technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive product specifications, ROI models, roadmaps, category strategies, and business cases for new product initiatives targeting the data center, AI, HPC, and emerging growth markets.
- Conduct extensive VoC visits and interviews to define highly technical product roadmaps that align with specific application and performance needs.
- Drive cross‑functional alignment to ensure all deliverables are met for successful product launches, including engineering readiness reviews, manufacturability assessments, and proactive risk mitigation plans.
- Lead structured status meetings with program management, engineering, sales, and business development teams to ensure technical compliance with product requirements and customer expectations.
- Perform in‑depth competitive and technology analysis, assessing architectures, topologies, efficiency targets, thermal management approaches, and cost structures to validate market fit, optimize design trade‑offs, and ensure profitability.
- Operates as a strategic technical leader with deep engineering expertise and market knowledge, bridging the gap between complex technical requirements and commercial strategy.
- Recognized as a trusted advisor internally and externally, able to influence technical and business decisions at all levels, including executives and customers.
- Highly adaptable and effective in navigating shifting priorities, evolving technologies, and ambiguous market conditions.
- Demonstrates a strategic yet hands‑on approach - outcome‑driven, collaborative, and committed to driving results.
- Leads by example; coaches junior engineers and product marketers, makes informed decisions under pressure, and proactively seeks business improvement opportunities.
- Challenges the status quo, initiating innovative approaches to maximize technical performance and business impact.
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required); Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in product marketing, product management, or applications engineering within power electronics.
- 2–3 years of direct people management experience, including mentoring and fostering team member growth.
- Demonstrated success in data center, AI, HPC, and hyperscale application markets.
- Deep technical expertise in:
- Front‑End Power (FEP)
- Board‑Mount Power (BMP)
- CRPS designs (Common Redundant Power Supply)
- Shelf‑ and rack‑level power systems
- High‑Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) architectures`
- DC/DC conversion solutions
- Skilled in market and competitive analysis, business case development, and value‑based pricing strategies for highly engineered products.
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives involving engineering, sales, operations, and supply chain teams.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously.
- Collaborative leadership style with a proactive ownership mentality and strong accountability.
Work Environment
This position is an on-site role, with one flex day per week of remote work.

Compensation Data
Salary range for this role is $161,000/year to $179,000/year. The range listed is based on market data and internal benchmarks. Actual compensation may vary depending on a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.
