Position Details

  • Title: Digital/Graphic Designer
  • Schedule: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, M-F, with some flexibility.
  • Location: Gibbstown, NJ (08027)
  • Salary Range: $60,000 - $67,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Position Overview

In collaboration with the marketing team, the Graphic/Digital Designer will assist with the development of print collateral, creative concepts, digital presentations, campaigns, social media graphics, and other marketing initiatives as directed. Combining digital/UX (20%) and traditional graphic design (80%), this role requires a strong eye for detail, the ability to multi-task, and deliver projects on point and on time.

Essential Job Functions

Graphic Design & Print Media

  • Develop concepts and layouts for all types of printed media including product labeling, packaging, brochures, catalogs, advertisements for publications, and trade show displays.
  • Ensure brand consistency and regulatory compliance across business divisions.
  • Create new logos and product identity systems.
  • Prepare art files for release to commercial printers, demonstrating knowledge of appropriate file types, bleeds, and resolution.
  • Perform photo retouching, color correction, and photo clipping.

Digital, UI/UX & Web

  • Apply front-end design principles to create clean, user-friendly web designs and intuitive page layouts.
  • Build clear, functional wireframes and prototypes using Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools.
  • Design digital ads and assets for websites and social media, ensuring adherence to platform specifications.
  • Design email campaigns and manage associated contact lists.
  • Understand and apply modern responsive design practices across devices.
  • Continuously assist in improving UX and UI processes.

Collaboration & Administration

  • Work closely with the marketing/design team to translate ideas into creative visual presentations that maintain brand standards.
  • Collaborate with external and internal partners to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery.
  • Build knowledge of products and divisions to translate technical information for marketing purposes.
  • Maintain the electronic file system for all art files.
  • Support business events and initiatives including trade shows and corporate events.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Perform additional duties/tasks as needed or requested by management.

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of professional experience in design, advertising, or related fields.
  • Technical Skills
  • Adobe Creative Suite: Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
  • UI/UX Tools: Prior experience using Figma, Adobe XD, or similar prototyping tools.
  • General Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & Mac OS.
  • Print Production: Basic knowledge of the printing process and file preparation.
  • Desired/Plus: Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, Constant Contact, and other marketing platforms.
  • Core Competencies

  • Organization: Proven ability to perform under deadlines; self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate at all levels internally and externally.

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, Constant Contact, and other marketing platforms.

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Physical Demands: Employee is required to walk; stand; sit; use hands and fingers to manipulate objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms to operate a computer and other office equipment, and occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs. Minimal need to balance, stoop, bend, kneel or climb.
  • Work Environment: This position is located in an office setting, within a manufacturing facility. Noise intensity level: quiet to low. Employees may occasionally need to enter manufacturing or lab areas, which may include exposure to moderate noise, moving equipment, and hazardous contaminants. When entering these areas, employees must adhere to all applicable safety protocols, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements. Occasional travel may be required for audits, inspections, site visits, customer meetings or events, and industry conferences.
