  • *MISSION**

Working under the North American Marketing Director, the North American Digital Content Manager (Thrustmaster) will be responsible for strengthening the brand’s share of voice online via the development of engaging first-party and third-party digital content.

The North American Digital Content Manager (Thrustmaster) will strategically plan and develop fun, relevant content that engages and entertains the brand’s primary target audience of **Simulation Gamers based in US/Canada**. He or she will also build and nurture sponsorship relationships with long-term brand ambassadors and short-term content partners.

  • *RESPONSIBILITIES**

Creative Promotional Content

  • Work alongside the global social media team to develop strategies that define our brand tone of voice, channel mix, content mix, influencer objectives, and quarterly promotional calendar.
  • Produce visual and written daily content daily that resonates with the US/Can target market on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Twitch, Tik Tok, Reddit, Discord, and other relevant digital platforms.
  • Work closely with the global brand team, the US sales team, and the North American marketing team to build content that addresses important marketing, communications, and business objectives in a timely manner.
  • Represent our brand with respect and passion with a humorous, intelligent, North American-centric ‘brand voice’ within a global community of engaged, knowledgeable, and passionate users.

Community Expertise

  • Study and immerse yourself in our product range and compatible games, ensuring that you can speak authoritatively and retain credibility in the eyes of our niche communities of well-informed fans.
  • Identify established digital influencers and authoritative media voices across different digital platforms with whom you can build and nurture long-lasting promotional content agreements.
  • Work alongside the North American Community Coordinator (Thrustmaster) to identify relevant online conversations worth engaging with, and trending UGC worth sharing.
  • React to engagement rates on each platform and make dynamic decisions about post format, post frequency, and writing style based on what best engages the growing community.

Reporting and budget management

  • Measure, analyze and report on key performance indicators. Understand how to read the numbers that matter and what they mean to our global and regional strategies.
  • Format quantitative result reports in a compelling way that succinctly emphasizes what is working and what is not.
  • Use the appropriate data to develop strategies to increase consumer engagement and purchase conversions.
  • Independently manage a social media budget to ensure wider community reach of our most important content, grow our communities with relevantly targeted demographics and psychographics, recruit new partner voices, and directly assist in the sale of our products by driving conversion-ready traffic to retail.
  • *REQUIREMENTS & ASSETS**
  • *Requirements**:
  • 3-5 years’ experience in marketing, PR, content creation/videography, social media management, influencer management, or another relevant marketing communications role is mandatory.
  • We are seeking creative, trendy, outside-the-box thinkers who love the fun side of digital content.
  • This role primarily serves the US region so perfect written English is required.
  • You must be willing to provide writing samples of blog posts, newsletters, social media feeds, or other. You should be willing to pass a social media creative writing test if writing samples are not available.
  • Experience in developing ambassador programs, working with third-party content creators, and nurturing influencer/partner relationships.
  • Must be willing/able to travel to Europe and the United States a few times per year.
  • Must be willing to work a hybrid schedule including up to three days per week in a team setting in-office in Mile End

Assets

  • Videography, video editing, and product photography experience. Examples may be requested.
  • Personal or professional experience creating content and managing a following on multiple social media channels incl. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, Twitch, Reddit, and Tik Tok.
  • Proven skills in managing varied interpersonal relationships in-person and online.
  • Budget management, report creation, strategic planning.
  • Strong adaptability to reprioritize tasks daily, while maintaining a fluid list of to-dos.
  • Written and spoken French and/or Spanish.
