Full Time, Permanent, 9 Day Fortnight Working Schedule

3 Fixed days in office, 2 days home, 0900-1800 (alternate Fridays off)

£40-45k plus Health Insurance, Service duration holiday ramping

Expandly is a leading and unique e-Commerce International Growth business that allows ecommerce sellers to trade across the world. The Marketing Manager for Expandly in the Southampton, UK will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies to create a pipeline of ICP leads, drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and product engagement. The role encompasses managing digital marketing efforts, partnerships, event marketing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve business growth. We’re SaaS driven using our own purpose built portal and underpinned by a team of compliance and logistics experts that guide sellers products to market via our network of owned 3PL warehouses around the world. 1. Marketing Strategy and Partnerships

  • ICP Lead Acquisition: Drive an analytical data driven programme to acquire ICP leads
  • Strategy Development: Creating and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy aimed at increasing brand visibility and customer acquisition, while aligning with business goals.
  • Partnership Development: Identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships with complementary businesses, agencies, and platforms to expand market reach. Collaborating on co-marketing campaigns, managing affiliate and referral programs, and building relationships with industry influencers and thought leaders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with sales, product development, and customer success teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with product offerings and company objectives.

2. Event Marketing and Management

  • Event Planning: Leading the planning, execution, and promotion of company-led events such as industry conferences, trade shows, webinars, and live product demonstrations to increase brand exposure.
  • Sponsorship and Speaking Engagements: Identifying and securing opportunities for event sponsorships and executive speaking engagements to enhance the company’s industry presence.
  • Customer and Partner Events: Organizing exclusive events for customers and partners to strengthen relationships, promote loyalty, and provide valuable product updates or training.
  • Post-Event Follow-Up: Overseeing lead-nurturing campaigns and measuring the success of events through data-driven insights to ensure a strong return on investment (ROI).

3. Digital Marketing, SEO and AISEO

  • Digital Campaign Management: Managing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, AISEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing, to drive traffic, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Content Creation & Marketing: Utilising AI tools to lead content strategy by developing blogs, white papers, case studies, social media, video creation and product-related content that educates potential customers and supports the sales funnel.
  • Marketing Automation: Utilizing marketing and cutting edge AI automation tools to streamline processes, nurture leads, and track performance. Ensuring CRM data is effectively leveraged for targeted marketing efforts.

4. Hands on Product Marketing and Go-To-Market Strategy

  • Lead Generation: Find and funnel ICP potential sellers
  • Product Launches: Managing go-to-market strategies for new software releases, including product positioning, messaging, and launch campaigns to ensure successful market entry.
  • Sales Enablement: Equipping the sales team with compelling product marketing materials, including brochures, explainer videos, and customer testimonials to help close deals.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conducting market research to understand competitive positioning, customer needs, and industry trends, ensuring the company’s products remain competitive and well-marketed.

5. Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Performance Tracking: Analyzing key marketing metrics and KPIs, such as website traffic, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and return on investment (ROI), to assess campaign effectiveness.
  • Reporting: Creating and presenting regular reports on marketing performance to the COO, offering actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Market Research: Keeping abreast of industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to inform marketing decisions and adjustments.

6. Team Leadership and Vendor Management

  • Team Leadership: Managing and mentoring a team of marketing professionals, including digital marketers, content creators, and designers, to achieve campaign goals.
  • Vendor and Agency Management: Overseeing relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and vendors, ensuring that they meet the company’s quality and performance standards.
  • Budget Management: Allocating and managing the marketing budget effectively, ensuring maximum ROI on all marketing initiatives, including partnerships and events.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • An AI evangelist: Proven track record of deploying extensive AI tools to dramatically scale output and breadth or abilities.
  • SaaS and/or eCommerce Marketing Experience: Proven experience in the SaaS or eCommerce industry, with a strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and trends.
  • Team Collaborator: Proven to thrive in a culturally creative and inclusive working environment that collaborates towards the wider goals of the business
  • Analytical and Data-Driven: Ability to interpret data and use insights to drive marketing strategies and improve performance.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating compelling content and marketing collateral.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven ability to manage and develop a marketing team while leading cross-functional collaboration.
  • Event and Partnership Management: Experience managing event marketing and developing partnerships that support the company’s growth strategy.
