We are looking for **Digital Media Planner & Buyer** to fill an immediate opening in our Burlington or Markham office. We area also open to work from home/hybrid arrangements, within reason. The Digital Media Planner & Buyer strategizes, plans and implements paid media buys. A typical day in this role could involve planning and execution, including presenting strategic recommendations, to stepping in to build and manage digital ads. Whether it’s recommending channel allocations or building out a campaign on various social media platforms, or Google, the Digital Media Planner & Buyer is an omnichannel expert. As a data-driven organization, the person in this position also assists with evaluating ad performance while in-market, and making recommendations for content & targeting optimizations.

  • *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:
  • Own the media planning process for small, medium and large-scale campaigns
  • Work closely with the rest of our Media team on the day-to-day management and optimization of paid media campaigns
  • Develop plain-language media briefs based on client goals, and presents those recommendations to the project team and client
  • Build omnichannel paid media plans
  • Review Paid Media plans by other team members to ensure budget + spend details fit the campaign brief
  • Assist in building and acting as quality control for Digital Ad builds on platforms like Facebook (Meta) and Google Ads
  • Analyze campaign performance reports to inform daily optimizations and testing recommendations
  • Deliver work that’s impactful, innovative and fun
  • Other related duties as required.
  • *OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING**:
  • At least 2 years of total experience in paid advertising/media planning
  • Familiarity with the media-planning process
  • Strong communication skills, including experience writing briefs and/or client-facing communications
  • Strong familiarity with self-serve Digital ad buying (primarily Meta/Facebook) and Google Ads
  • Must be extremely detail oriented, passionate about data analysis and able to multitask in a fast paced environment while working independently
  • Experience using first party data and pixels to reach targeted audiences and drive conversions
  • Comfort & familiarity with Digital ads tracking practises - including conversion pixels, Google Analytics goals setup, etc.
  • You are able to manage a high workload while maintaining a good sense of humour. You are also able to work under pressure and very tight deadlines without compromising the quality of your work.
