Job Overview
We are seeking a self-managed, ambitious, and detail-oriented professional with exceptional accuracy and a strong commitment to quality to join our growing e-commerce team. A fundamental requirement of this role is the ability to take ownership of responsibilities from example tasks—turning them into self-directed initiatives with accuracy, accountability, and follow-through. The ideal candidate is thrives in a fast-paced environment that demands precision, multitasking, and creative problem-solving.
The primary focus of this position is to optimize revenue with e-commerce channel partners through diligent planning and execution of promotions. This role requires exceptional ambition paired with strict discipline. Self-management, attention to detail, high accuracy, and a strong commitment to quality work are essential.
The successful candidate will wear multiple hats—managing retailer and supplier relations, the promotional calendar, and every step of the e-commerce lifecycle:
- Enhancing the quality of product listings
- Planning promotions
- Overseeing promotions as they go live
- Driving conversion
- Analyzing performance and proposing refinements for subsequent promotions
- Overseeing fulfillment
- Running and optimizing sponsored ads
The role also manages accounts and relationships while applying strong analytical and organizational skills to keep our supply chain and sales channels running smoothly and to drive execution. The ideal candidate is comfortable with numbers, understands core business concepts (profit margin, cost, markup), and thrives in a fast-paced environment that demands precision, multitasking, and creative problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a real-time, daily understanding of the market by regularly reviewing competing products and their promotions across channels.
- Execute—and ensure execution of—operations required for the success of e-commerce activities.
- Plan promotional events in line with company policies and channel constraints; resolve calendar conflicts.
- Create proposals for channels that meet margin requirements.
- Calculate funding and verify the accuracy of proposals.
- Follow through to obtain approval for proposed promotions.
- Perform daily checks to confirm promotions go live as scheduled.
- Load inventory daily in the back end of e-commerce systems.
- Verify daily that platforms reflect accurate inventory levels.
- Review all incoming operations and e-commerce emails, identify those requiring a response, and respond accordingly.
- When a response requires input from another team or team member, follow up until the input is obtained and the response is sent.
- Identify daily and weekly opportunities and propose refinements to existing promotional plans.
- Participate in calls with channel merchants; develop and maintain strong relationships with retail accounts.
- Serve as the main point of contact for buyers/merchants and assistant buyers/merchants.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and promotions with retail partners.
- Track account activity, manage the sales pipeline, and prepare sales reports for management.
- Represent the company in video meetings, phone calls, trade shows, and occasional in-person visits.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities, developing them into efficient, ongoing processes.
- Identify needs for SOPs and create them with detailed instructions.
- Coordinate and oversee order fulfillment, inventory, and logistics.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring alignment with sales forecasts.
- Act as a liaison between sales teams and vendors/suppliers to ensure smooth supply-chain flow.
- Support product launches, retail channel listings, and trade show activities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align sales, marketing, and operations goals.

Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Accounting). Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business and Finance may apply.
Technical Skills
