  • We are seeking an_ **_eCommerce Operations Specialist _**_to join _our Direct-to-Consumer team_
  • *_We are looking for a teammate with:_**
  • Diploma in Commerce, Marketing, Communications, or other secondary education preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience with a retailer, eCommerce store, CPG or wine is considered an asset.
  • Detailed problem solver able to creatively troubleshoot issues.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with ability to adjust communication style to suit different levels of the organization.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-managed, positive with great attitude, capable of working under pressure at times.
  • Able to work independently as well as on project teams.
  • Strong analytical and fact-based decision-making skills.
  • Experience with Google Analytics / GA4 or other web measurement tools.
  • Experience working with Magento or any eCommerce Platform (Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, SAP, BigCommerce etc.)
  • Previous experience with content development - copywriting or content management.
  • Any wine degrees or certifications are an asset.
  • Additional languages such as French is considered an asset.
  • *_ This teammate will be accountable for:_**
  • *Website**
  • Manage ecommerce merchandising utilizing eCommerce tools - Magento.
  • Manage site and product content to support digital campaigns & promotions.
  • Understand the online orders and customer metrics, look for trends and suggest ways to improve the customer service experience. Then follow up with the relevant teams to propose and execute recommended changes.
  • Manage and own the setup, presentation, & optimization process required to launch products on all ecommerce properties.
  • Day-to-day maintenance of product catalog across digital properties. Audit live listings and troubleshoot products to ensure all SKUs are live without issues.
  • Support the inventory, operational and product needs required for all websites; Work closely with demand planning and warehousing to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Identify process gaps and inefficiencies (often by proactively soliciting and analyzing feedback from associates), fulfillment systems, processes, and tools. Research and then document the desired result and work to bring about positive change.
  • Liaise with IT, Operations, and other partners to build storefronts that host visually pleasing wine selections and can effortlessly deliver a premium and engaging wine buying experience along with a smooth technical journey to check-out.
  • Support the collaboration of operations and communications between the various teams such as store operations, IT, consumer contact centre, transportation, merchandising and marketing.
  • Develop and build campaign landing pages, and other content pages as required.
  • Write and edit content that will be published on website platform, including product descriptions, headings, landing pages, and content pages.
  • Work on other duties as assigned. This is an ever-evolving role and adaptability will be the key to success.
  • Work with Ecommerce, Sales & Communications Manager, brand, creative services and CX&E teams to curate brand appropriate offers that deliver high-engagement, conversion and repeat purchase patterns.
  • Partner with cross functional teams, including IT and Operations, to ensure the proper business and technical execution of the different Ecommerce sales.
  • *Reporting and Analytics**
  • Analyze and draw insights on site performance (including all APL ecommerce shopping sites).
  • Provide suggestions for site improvements to increase sales and improve user experience.
  • Monitor competitor activity, Google Analytics audience auctions insights and add performances to optimize spend and target audience.
  • Set up desired analytics dashboard with Google analytics by storefront.
  • Provide insights on customer shopping trends to support assortment selection and identify assortment gaps.
  • Report on fulfillment efficiencies, shipping performance and customer satisfaction reviews.
