Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead the retrofitting of existing fulfillment centers with new technology systems. This role specializes in managing the retrofit cycle, collaborating with engineering and operations stakeholders to ensure timely execution, technical readiness, and overall project success. You will design and implement installation schedules, coordinate cross-functional teams, and provide ongoing support post-implementation until performance targets are achieved.

Key job responsibilities

Build and develop specialized retrofit teams for each project cycle, collaborating with engineering, operations, and Central RME stakeholders to ensure timely resource allocation and technical readiness. Design and implement pre-installation training schedules for all retrofit personnel in partnership with Learning & Development, operations teams, and OEMs. Lead the physical installation and integration of new technology systems into existing fulfillment centers, coordinating with site operations to minimize business disruption while managing project timelines, budgets, and resources across multiple concurrent initiatives. Provide ongoing post-implementation support to ensure successful technology adoption, including standard work execution, KPI tracking, high-impact event management, and leadership support until legacy performance targets are achieved.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of team management experience
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
