Marketing Manager – Amazonico Miami

Job Overview

The Marketing Manager will manage the timely flow of all marketing initiatives across multiple disciplines & platforms. The ideal candidate is analytical, creative, possesses a working knowledge relevant to the marketing function, and will have 3-5 years of professional experience working in hospitality and/or for a luxury lifestyle brand. Example functions are brand management and content production, information technology, digital and traditional media, and events. Previous experience in project & content management is required. This role is on-site and reports to the Marketing Director.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of the marketing plan activity, which includes campaign development, pitch decks, mood boards, and brand presentations
  • Support the department with all day-to-day administration requirements
  • Assist on dedicated projects based on a project plan and delivery timelines, giving status updates
  • Liaise with third-party suppliers, including design, print, installation, vendors, and others, as required and when instructed, working on a schedule, ensuring costs are signed off, items are delivered on deadline and go through the approved approval process
  • Research for key projects, collation of findings
  • Working together as part of the team, brainstorming on ideation for key campaigns, and assisting in the curation of presentations to encompass the ideas.
  • Managing website updates and ensuring all content is current and updated
  • Organizing the department Dropbox so all documents, files, and images are easily found and documented
  • Photo and video shoot support management, including assisting in sourcing pros, running and working with the photographer
  • Manage content development so it is executed in a timely manner to deliver for launch dates
  • Utilizing a formatted template, generation of reports, and summary of marketing activity as required
  • Work as a key member of the wider business, supporting where necessary
  • Attend meetings as required and ensure all actions are documented and actioned
  • Menu support for the sites, as and when required, may require the use of InDesign
  • Learning new systems and processes as required
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Create and execute specific brand marketing strategy
  • Manage Amazonico Marketing Calendar that lists all Marketing activities by month, including strategy, budget, planning, and execution of activations
  • Ensure that management, sales, and administrative teams all receive accurate information as pertains to upcoming marketing initiatives
  • Translate data into insights to drive and improve KPIs and overall ROI
  • Execute promotional email blasts to each database utilizing A/B testing and segmentation strategies
  • Oversee social media planning and execution
  • Oversee community management and direct crisis and reactionary strategies concerning brand negativity to upper management
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting brands through industry research and make appropriate recommendations regarding strategy surrounding them
  • Manage marketing coordinators and/or interns

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at the management level
  • High-level planning skills and tactical skills to execute the plan
  • Has had success utilizing a consumer-insights-driven disciplined approach to campaign development
  • Demonstrated competence with benchmarked industry software tools such as social media, analytics, digital marketing, email marketing, and brand management
  • The ability to excel while managing a wide range of responsibilities in a quick-moving, rapidly changing environment, prioritizing and organizing work to meet deadlines and multiple requests
  • Demonstrated excellence in written business and editorial communication skills
  • Personal characteristics that include integrity, professionalism, teamwork, maturity, resilience, entrepreneurship, and excitement toward growth and change
  • Is passionate about hospitality, especially in the restaurant/food/beverage space
