We are an out-of-this-world destination, where cheeky humor meets top tier confections with a growing national e-commerce presence and bustling retail stores. We need an organized, proactive and experienced operations manager to help get the best fudge from Uranus into the hands of fans everywhere. (yes, we went there)

Role Description

As the operations manager, you’ll oversee our entire physical fulfillment ecosystem from warehouse operations and inventory control to e-commerce shipping and multi store distribution. Your mission? Make sure fudge flies out of Of Uranus fast, fresh and flawless.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse oversight: lead day today, operations at our Richmond warehouse, including receiving packing safety and staff management
Inventory management: Monitor and manage stock levels,forecast needs,handle re-ordering, and ensure nothing spoils or disappears into a fudge black hole.
E-Commerce Fulfillment: Ensure timely and accurate order processing for online customers, including packaging, labeling, and shipping logistics
Retail store distribution: Coordinate product shipments to our storefront to maintain stock levels and product, freshness.
System & Process Improvement: Use software (Shopify, etc.) to analyze trends and streamline operations.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate the warehouse and fulfillment crew.
Vendor & Carrier Management: Build relationships with suppliers and shippers to reduce costs and improve delivery speed.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in operations, logistics, warehouse, or inventory management.
E-

commerce fulfillment experience preferred (Shopify or similar platforms).

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
Familiarity with inventory systems and logistics software.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle fast-paced warehouse settings.
Bonus points if you've worked with food, perishable goods, or seasonal surges (we’re lookin’ at you, holiday fudge fans).
