Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and experienced Social Media Manager to join our team for the summer season. This is an in-person role ideal for someone local to the Asbury Park area who understands the local vibe and can authentically engage our community online. If you have a passion for content creation, fashion, and social media trends—this is for you.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
Create original, on-brand content (photos, videos, reels, stories) to promote store events, product drops, and daily happenings
Engage with the online community: reply to DMs/comments, reshare tagged content, and interact with followers
Track performance metrics and suggest optimizations based on engagement and reach
Collaborate with store staff and leadership to align messaging with business goals

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of social media management experience (professional or freelance)
Strong understanding of social platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok
Ability to shoot and edit content using a phone or basic editing tools
Excellent communication and copywriting skills
Must be local to the Asbury Park, NJ area and able to work on-site regularly
Interest in fashion, retail, or creative industries a plus

Compensation

Hourly pay based on experience - let's talk
Potential for long-term position following the contract period as we expand our online business and add locations
