Reporting to the Sr Director of Marketing & Communications, the **Digital Marketing Manager** oversees the Birks Groups Inc digital brand marketing, communication & media practices. This role is responsible for managing, elevating and evolving owned and paid channels for Birks Groups brands, services, retail stores and ecommerce.

In addition, the **Manager, Digital Marketing** is expected to

Provide support to identify the greatest opportunities for Birks Group Inc products, brands and services recognizing the omni-channel delivery (retail, e-commerce and wholesale) in our business model.
Build digital brand marketing strategy and go to market plans with an emphasis on owned and paid channels, to drive awareness, consideration and conversion.
Set annual digital marketing KPIs and objectives and closely monitor results.
Define audience and digital brand strategy to achieve optimal business results in context of the customer journey and user flow.
Understand and communicate basic design principles to our creative studio and copywriters to build compelling digital assets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope and execute projects.
Align communication with e-commerce, customer service and community management teams.
Communicate effectively with partners and stakeholders to outline plans, process, and results.
Measure and analyze all campaign performance, develop dashboard, determine ways to optimize and enhance campaigns
Measure and report on success of initiatives and campaigns, working with analytics platforms, teams and agencies
Prepare senior management report on campaign results and monthly KPIs.
Monitor the latest trends in digital marketing, including advertising formats, channels and technologies in order to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations.
With the support of Digital Marketing team and external agencies, execute digital marketing strategy for paid and owned channels.
Develop Birks marketing and communication calendar alongside the Marketing team, ensuring it is consistent with overall brand and sales objectives, and that KPIs are being met. Lead brainstorming sessions to determine ways of making ideas relevant for key initiatives
Broaden the brand's digital footprint via platform expansion. Lead projects as needed.
Leverage available tools and online reporting capabilities to report on program successes, developing clear competitive benchmarks
Prepare and present programs and metrics for various internal management and brand partners.
Assume a leadership role in the department and manage digital marketing coordinator, social media specialist and relevant internships.
Support SR Director, Marketing & Communications with any other relevant marketing tasks.
7+ years of experience as a digital marketer in house or at a media, marketing or advertising firms or agencies with focus on social media marketing
Experience with digital marketing industry, agencies and channels
Experience developing and managing channel strategy and budgets
Experience collaborating and communicating with cross-functional partners
Strong leadership skills and management skills.
Analytical and Strategic
Innovative and creative
Strong understanding of Google Analytics and MSOffice (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is required
Knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Microsoft Power BI, Dynamics CRM 365 is an asset
Enjoys and supports working with a team while being flexible in adhering to shifting deadlines
Bilingual: French and English - spoken/written is required
