PLC Logic Controls Technician
We are looking for a skilled PLC Logic Controls Technician to help design, program, troubleshoot, and maintain automation and control systems that keep our operations running efficiently. This role is essential for ensuring reliability and continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes.
What You’ll Do
- Design, program, and modify PLC logic using platforms such as Allen-Bradley (Rockwell), Siemens, or Mitsubishi.
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled systems, control panels, and related electrical equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
- Work closely with engineering and maintenance teams to implement automation improvements.
- Perform system testing, validation, and documentation of control logic.
- Maintain accurate PLC software backups and documentation.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and control systems.
- Ensure all automation activities meet safety and quality standards.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting in an industrial environment.
- Proficiency with HMI/SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profibus.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, sensors, actuators, and motor controls.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts or hours as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or related field.
- Experience with robotics integration or motion control systems.
- Familiarity with safety PLCs and machine safety standards such as ISO 13849 or ANSI B11.
- Knowledge of data acquisition and industrial networking.
