This podcast is a strategic growth engine — not just content. It should:

  • Attract sponsors and partners
  • Drive proactive event sponsorship and attendance
  • Elevate the personal brand of our host, Paul (industry authority)
  • Turn episodes into industry talking points, not just downloads

The Opportunity

We’re looking for someone whose niche is podcast growth, distribution and influence — someone who understands how to turn long-form conversations into:

  • High-impact short-form content
  • Social proof
  • Demand generation
  • Authority positioning

Editing is light — the episodes are already high quality.

The real value is in what you extract and how you deploy it.

What You’ll Be Doing

Podcast Content & Structure

  • Review and refine our updated podcast flow (we’ve already refreshed it)
  • Suggest improvements to maximise:

o Storytelling

o “golden moments”

o Shareability

o Commercial impact

Golden Moment Extraction

  • Identify standout clips from each episode
  • Create short-form assets:

o Reels / Shorts

o Quote clips

o Insight highlights

  • Optimised primarily for:

o LinkedIn

o Instagram

o (and any other platforms you know genuinely work)

Podcast Marketing & Growth

  • Build a repeatable system for:

o Episode promotion

o Guest amplification

o Ongoing audience growth

  • Help position the podcast as:

o “If you’re serious about retail risk, you need to be on this show.”

Annual & Campaign Content

  • Create a yearly round-up asset
  • Suggest creative campaign ideas that:

o Build anticipation

o Increase inbound interest

o Support events and sponsorship conversations

What We’re Looking For

You’re likely a great fit if you

  • Have proven experience growing podcasts (especially B2B or industry-led)
  • Understand short-form content psychology
  • Know how to turn conversations into:

o Authority

o Demand

o Commercial outcomes

  • Are comfortable working with senior industry leaders
  • Think strategically,
  • Can say “here’s how we turn this into something people talk about”

Nice to Have (but not essential)

  • Experience with B2B, events, or thought-leadership brands
  • Understanding of sponsorship-driven content models
  • Strong LinkedIn content instincts
