Job Description: Business Development, Marketing and Account Manager

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing & Business Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and business development plans aimed at driving revenue growth and market share.
- Utilize MBA-level business acumen to create, implement, and manage strategic marketing campaigns for both B2B and B2C audiences.
- Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Leverage consulting experience to optimize business processes, improve client acquisition, and increase brand visibility.
- Collaborate with senior management to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives and ensure cohesive brand messaging across all platforms.
Digital Marketing Leadership
- Analyze digital marketing performance metrics and KPIs to optimize campaigns and maximize ROI.
- Stay abreast of the latest digital marketing trends and technologies to ensure UVG remains competitive and innovative in the market.
- Integrate digital marketing initiatives with broader business development strategies to drive customer engagement and brand loyalty.
- Manage content creation for digital platforms, ensuring alignment with UVG’s brand voice and strategic objectives.
Professional Relations
- Represent UVG with professionalism through excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Independently schedule and conduct meetings to maintain a growing portfolio of virtual and in-person engagements.
- Provide monthly updates and reports on territory activities, opportunities, market trends, and external influences to inform business strategies.
Data and Documentation
- Optimize departmental efficiency by leveraging tools and software for data management and reporting.
- Monitor and report on activities, including meeting schedules, territory coverage, and referral trends, to drive informed decision-making.
- Maintain detailed profiles of referring optometrists, MDs, and associated offices to enhance relationship management.
- Liaise with customer care and other teams to gather and disseminate relevant information promptly and accurately.
Community Engagement Responsibilities
- Strategically develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, leaders, and individuals to support UVG’s initiatives and expand its community footprint.
- Coordinate and manage community projects that align with UVG’s strategic objectives, ensuring successful outcomes and maximum impact.
- Assist in organizing and executing community events, workshops, and meetings that contribute to the overall strategic goals of the organization.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings and maintaining databases, to ensure seamless community engagement operations.
Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on strategic marketing, digital marketing, and business development.
- 2-3 years of experience in a big firm or consulting environment, with demonstrated success in creating and executing digital and traditional marketing strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with business goals and contribute to long-term success.
- Strong expertise in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and content management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and work under pressure.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in all aspects of work.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle for travel within the Greater Toronto Area.
- Advanced knowledge of healthcare marketing tools and programs is an asset.
- Numerically literate and proficient with spreadsheets.
- Up-to-date with social media and online marketing trends.
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
