In this role, you will report directly to the Web Team Lead and play a vital role in aiding and supporting the B2B and DTC websites. Your primary responsibilities will include updating our websites and accomplishing conversion rate targets.**The E-commerce Merchandiser will**:

  • Accountable for updating our B2B and DTC/B2C websites with the latest products and content.
  • Supervise, train, and source for external agencies/freelancers to efficiently update all websites with our standard CMS (Magento, Shopify) procedures.
  • Liaison with Marketing and Creative teams to retrieve content and graphics. This includes the assistance of reviewing, proofreading, and providing graphic designers with image/layout specifications.
  • Responsible for overseeing the Digital Calendar to ensure promotions are effectively launched on time.
  • Keep track of complex product categorization, customer segmentation, pricing matrices, and marketing programs.
  • Advise the shortest path to purchase by presenting user journeys via Figma
  • Analyze and present conversation rates using digital aids like Google Analytics UA/GA4, CMS data, Heat Mapping and SEO.
  • Identify user drop-off through user testing and recommend improvements.
  • Advocate for improving analytical reporting and user testing by continuously learning and introducing the latest digital tools.
  • *To be successful you should have**:
  • University Degree or College Diploma in Web/E-commerce.
  • University Degree or College Diploma in User Experience.
  • At least 2 years of user experience and E-commerce merchandising.
  • Figma and Photoshop competency to mock up low-to-high fidelity templates.
  • Proficient in Office 365, in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS and pseudo-coding is an asset.
  • Experience with Magento and Shopify CMS platforms are all assets.
  • A highly analytical individual who breaks down ambiguous challenges into low-level steps with mínimal guidance.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and constructively to management, cross-functional departments, peers, and end users.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives on creating rapid prototypes to meet the needs of our fast-paced industry.
  • Verbal and written fluency in English is required.
  • A portfolio that displays your work in UI/UX is an asset.
