  • *Position Summary**

Giving the ever-developing importance of social media in media plans and increasing sophistication of the platforms, we are looking for a Paid Social Media Specialist to join our Brand media & Communications Team at Nespresso Canada, in Montreal, QC, reporting to the Performance Media Manager and working very closely with the Brand Media & Communication manager in charge of the brand content strategy.

The Paid Social Media Specialist will have as core responsibility the development of the paid social media strategy and plans supporting each of the major brand campaigns - this will include the identification of the optimization parameters per key platform and set-up of the campaigns, the integration of best practices for the selection of formats, the development of content, and the monitoring of the performance

  • *A day in the life of...**

As Paid Social Media Specialist, you are the “expert” of the paid social platforms and master the key success measures and set-up parameters that drive high-performing campaigns. You are fully familiar with the latest evolutions in social media and you are able to accompany the brand digital transformation to be at the forefront of digital marketing mastery.

You will be the key contact with HQ Brand and Media teams, creative content agency and media buying agency to develop best in class assets and campaigns to effectively win in social media through the full conversion funnel, across both brand-building and promotional campaigns.

Core responsibilities will include, while not being limited to:

  • Support the development of paid social media campaigns, including asset development and campaign set-up
  • Develop briefings to agencies including analysis from previous campaigns & insights
  • Work closely with Global teams and production agencies in development of creative material
  • Closely partners with media buying agency and key platform representatives to design best in class social tactics
  • Define and closely monitor key performance metrics to drive continuous improvements across campaigns
  • Manage agencies to ensure proper delivery of qualitative paid social material (banners, videos, ad copy), cost-effective media buy and efficient tracking
  • Evaluate on a campaign and quarterly basis both media and creative agencies performances
  • *What will make you successful**

You will also demonstrate the right sensitivity for high-premium brands and show a thorough understanding of the Canadian market in order to drive the Nespresso brand elevation as per dictated by HQ while integrating the rights nuances to secure local relevance and relatability for Canadian consumers.

You will also have

  • University degree or equivalent in Management or Communication
  • At least 2 years of experience in social media planning and content development with proven mastery of main social media platform (Meta, Tik Tok, Pinterest )
  • Experience in working with media and creative agencies
  • Solid knowledge of Digital Marketing and core measures of performance (KPIs)
  • Luxury brand and/or high-premium knowledge, sensitivity for creative content and aesthetics
  • Project and time management skills, ability to manage conflicting priorities.
