**MAIN OBJECTIVES**

The Ecommerce Specialist is a key member of the Digital Marketing & Ecommerce team focused on maintaining the product catalog, planning, and executing B2C digital marketing programs, and supporting the development of the ecommerce platform. The Ecommerce Specialist will collaborate, and support contract agencies and the rest of the marketing team as needed.

The Ecommerce Specialist uses analytics and reporting tools across channels to provide monthly reporting on KPIs and benchmarks to track success. They will present analytics and insights to management and make recommendations to improve processes and performance. They work in a highly collaborative cross-functional team to ensure Mustang Survival communications and channels are managed according to the integrated business calendar.

  • *KEY RESULT AREAS (KRA)**
  • *Key Result #1 - Product Information and Inventory**

The Ecommerce Specialist champions the brand’s product representation online and cart experience. You work with image, video, audio and copy to achieve this. You manage the product information, product inventory, and product campaign execution across the digital ecosystem on a day-to-day basis, to provide the best user experience in terms of browsing and shopping.

You ensure all product pages have the best information possible and use tools to test new content, analyze data and conduct surveys to drive successful conversion rates for the brand.

You maintain the connection with the product information management tool (Salsify) to consumer facing platforms and ensure all product details are correct.

You also are responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels on Mustang Survival’s various digital commerce platforms (Ecommerce, Amazon, etc.), country locations, and pop-up retail events by transferring products to the D2C warehouses. You work with logistics and forecasting on securing the required product to meet sales and inventory goals.

  • *Key Result #2 - User Experience**

The Ecommerce Specialist guarantees an excellent browsing and shopping experience by working on the development of new features and functionalities in collaboration with cross-functional teams and contract agencies.

You work with the digital and marketing teams to resolve points of friction for consumer researching or purchasing Mustang Survival products online. This includes driving collection pages, technology pages, product finders, product filters, checkout process, and other product content as required.

You also participate in identifying, recommending, and executing SEO improvements to reinforce the position of the brand on search engines.

  • *Key Result #3 - Campaign Support**

The Ecommerce Specialist works with Product Managers, Marketing, Creative, and Digital with seasonal requirements to drive data-informed product assortments, hero outfits, product campaigns, and help drive lust for Mustang Survival products across all digital consumer touchpoints.

You maintain the cadence for delivering the objectives on time and on-brand with the integrated business calendar and each passing seasonal launch of the Recreational product line (Spring and Fall). Execution will be managed by you to ensure congruency as campaigns go live.

  • *Other Responsibilities**
  • This position may require ad hoc domestic travel within Canada and the US to attend trade and consumer shows as required and to understand markets, target consumers and emerging market opportunities
  • Prepare vendor payment documentation for managers or accounts payable/receivable to sign off on

  • *QUALIFICATIONS**
  • Business Administration or Marketing Degree, Technical Diploma, or equivalent education and experience in the field of digital marketing management, ecommerce management, or a related field
  • Minimum three years’ experience in a digital marketing or ecommerce role
  • Content creation, photography/videography expertise, or Diploma in Technical Apparel Design, Clothing and Textiles, or equivalent work experience is considered an asset
  • *REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**
  • Knowledge and skills specific to marketing and sales of consumer products
  • Working knowledge of web design principles, best practices, and content management platforms.
  • Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to connect with the various people embedded in the organization and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, time and project management skills to work effectively under pressure of multiple deadlines. Agile/Scrum certification or experience considered a strong asset
  • Artistically inclined with a strong proficiency in digital design, art direction, and a strong sense of aesthetic and attention to detail. UX design experience considered an asset
  • Proficient in a variety of office equipment, collaboration tools, and software including Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office
