Business Development Specialist – Energy & Infrastructure

A leading international law firm is seeking a Business Development Specialist to support its global Energy & Infrastructure practice. The Specialist plays a key role in advancing business development and marketing initiatives, working closely with attorneys and BD team members to produce high-quality pitches, proposals, and RFP responses for complex, cross-border matters. The role also contributes to strategic marketing activities including directory and award submissions, sponsorship management, events, research, and development of marketing collateral that enhances the firm’s market presence in the energy and infrastructure sector.

Responsibilities include drafting and managing pitches and proposals; maintaining marketing materials such as practice descriptions, bios, and experience lists; coordinating submissions for rankings; managing sponsorships; conducting client, prospect, and competitor research; supporting events and webinars; assisting with industry team initiatives; and collaborating with communications teams on media, design, and digital marketing efforts.

The role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, knowledge of law firm operations, understanding of marketing principles, proficiency with MS Office, and strong relationship-management abilities. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in marketing, law, or business, with at least five years of marketing experience; experience with Corporate or Energy & Infrastructure practices is preferred.

The salary range is $91,000–$116,000, with eligibility for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package including health plans, parental support, retirement programs, wellbeing resources, commuter benefits, and more.
