The SVP of Transformation will be a key member Candescent's executive leadership team, responsible for driving enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that modernize operations, enhance customer experiences, and accelerate growth. This leader will oversee strategic programs spanning digital transformation, process optimization, cultural change, technology modernization, and regulatory alignment.
The successful candidate will bring deep experience in financial services or fintech, a track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through transformation, and the ability to inspire cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Partner with the CEO, executive team, and Board to define and execute the company's transformation agenda aligned with long-term strategic goals.
- Develop a multi-year transformation roadmap covering digital platforms, data analytics, product innovation, operations, and customer experience.
- Act as a change agent to foster a culture of innovation, agility, and accountability across the organization.
Program Execution
- Lead large-scale transformation programs, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, and budget while managing risks and interdependencies.
- Oversee program management offices (PMO), performance metrics, and governance frameworks for strategic initiatives.
- Drive integration and optimization of legacy systems with new digital technologies, including cloud, AI, and automation solutions.
Operational Excellence
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, scalability, and resilience.
- Align transformation efforts with regulatory requirements and risk management practices.
- Partner with technology, operations, and product leaders to simplify workflows and enhance speed-to-market for new offerings.
People and Change Management
- Build and lead high-performing transformation teams; mentor and develop emerging leaders.
- Drive organizational change through communication, training, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Embed customer-centric design and data-driven decision-making into the organization's DNA.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in banking, fintech, or financial services.
- Proven track record leading enterprise transformation, large-scale change programs, or digital modernization initiatives.
- Experience in managing complex stakeholder environments, including regulatory, technology, and business domains.
