**Position Purpose and Summary**

The Digital Communications Specialist advances the Mission of Trinity Western University by executing and optimizing inbound digital marketing initiatives to drive sales growth and customer acquisition across digital channels.

  • *Digital Campaign Coordination**
  • Create effective engagement studios that drive customer conversions with relevant messages.
  • Development and on-going monitoring of automated communication workflows.
  • Manage the digital communications calendar and keep it up to date with relevant messages.
  • Ensure brand messages are clearly communicated in campaign copy, workflows and webpages.
  • Maintain brand and messaging consistency in accordance with University brand standards.
  • Continuously optimize inbound marketing campaigns to achieve positive campaign outcomes.
  • Provide copywriting for inbound digital campaigns across all relevant digital channels as needed.
  • *Funnel & Conversion Optimization**
  • Coordinate the creation, development, optimization and reporting of new and existing funnel workflows including engagement studio design, content planning, copywriting and scheduling.
  • Develop scoring metrics to measure and report performance against stated goals and objectives.
  • Conduct A/B testing and engineered experiments to help drive conversion optimization.
  • Create relevant reports to analyze user behaviour for the purpose of improving conversions.
  • *Project Coordination & Administration**
  • Ensure successful project execution and timeline management through critical paths.
  • Successfully coordinate digital projects ensuring a smooth and continuous flow of work.
  • Ensure daily time tracking and project entry into Wrike (project management software).

  • Demonstrated experience in Salesforce and Pardot (CRM systems).
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Proficiency in copywriting and editing for sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Problem-solver with demonstrated critical thinking ability to meet goals.
  • Ability to execute within established process and framework but able to innovate.
  • Calm demeanor with a bias for action and taking the initiative to ensure results.

  • *Standards & Requirements**
  • *Education**: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications or English is required.
  • *Experience**: 2-3 years in a digital marketing or copywriting role for digital platforms.
