[Remote] Field Installation & Service Technician - Dallas (45245)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. We are hiring for a Field Installation & Service Technician to provide client installation and post-installation service of our digital signage solutions, as well as providing on-site support services in a break/fix capacity.

Responsibilities

• Perform On-site technical support of STRATACACHE digital signage applications
• Perform On-site installation of STRATACACHE digital signage applications
• Ability to work with industry standard display technologies (displays, video connections, network connections)
• Ability to work with a team or individually
• Ability to clearly articulate to support team members issues encountered onsite and what was done to resolve them
• Ability to follow installation documentation
• Ability to come up with solutions to unforeseen problems as work is done and provide feedback to project stakeholders regarding those solutions
• Additional duties may be assigned, as needed

Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate and interface with customers in a professional manner
• Ability to travel and work remotely from project sites as necessary
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work within documentation applications. (Word, Excel, email, other cloud based solutions)
• Able to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
• Ability to interact professionally with senior internal and external personnel
• Ability to be dispatched to a customer site with relatively short notice (24-48 hours)
• Some construction or digital signage installation experience a plus
• Some experience dealing with construction general contractors
