Advertising is one of Amazon’s fastest growing businesses, and that growth creates challenges in managing large volumes of advertising submissions while maintaining a high customer experience and working at the speed advertisers demand. The role is within Advertising Trust’s Policy & Integrity team, where you will have high visibility across Amazon business lines and contribute to the long‑term strategy for the success of Amazon Advertising.
Key Responsibilities
Policy creation and management from rationale to policy language, communication, technical implementation, and ongoing monitoring through data across multiple publishers.
Clearly communicate risks, including through high‑quality written presentations, to internal stakeholders to support understanding and consensus of policy positions.
Work with product teams by creating business requirement documents to ensure policy compliance for developing ad products.
Build collaborative relationships across other policy teams within the Ad Trust Policy team, Ads Trust, Sales, Legal, PR, Public Policy, and other business units.
Occasionally support high‑risk and high‑impact escalations in partnership with moderation and tiered support teams.
Build an understanding of how ad tech systems function and how Amazon’s systems operate to inform policy work.
A Day in the Life
Monitor policies for accuracy and fit, handle escalated compliance questions, develop knowledge of locale‑specific requirements, make decisions that consider cultural and societal norms, build policy recommendations, partner with product teams to solve for risks, and coordinate collaboration and escalation management between multiple teams.
About the Team
The Ad policy team owns global advertising policies across all ad products and Amazon Publishers. This dynamic team is integral to supporting Amazon Advertising and makes a customer‑centric impact with every ad served.
Basic Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline (e.g., Law, Political Science, Public Policy, Public Affairs, Economic Development).
Experience in programmatic advertising.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in regulatory frameworks and policy analysis methodologies.
Experience working with Fortune 500 advertisers, agencies, and clients.

Compensation: Base pay ranges from $124,600 per year in the lowest geographic market up to $206,100 per year in the highest. Pay is based on location, experience, and skill.
