Director E-Commerce
A1 Cash & CarryThe Director of E-Commerce is the leader accountable for defining, scaling, and governing A1's national e-commerce business. This role owns strategy, standards, performance management, and transformation of the e-commerce function, while building a disciplined, initiative-driven team that delivers sustained growth with margin protection.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth
- Define and execute the national e-commerce strategy aligned to company growth objectives
- Deliver growth outpacing A1's organic growth, while improving margins
- Own strategy and execution across storefronts, and marketplaces
- Identify and launch new growth initiatives, integrations, and revenue streams, and operational efficiencies and optimizations
- Builds A1's Ecommerce to be the industry leader in Canada.
Governance & Decision Framework
- Define rules of engagement between e-commerce and other departments
- Own KPI frameworks, scorecards, and performance standards across all e-commerce channels
- Full ownership of the P&L
- Ensure disciplined initiative selection, pilot execution
Platform & Capability Development
- Own the long-term e-commerce platform roadmap (architecture, integrations, automation)
- Drive increased self-service adoption, automation, and reduction in cost-to-serve
- Champion B2B omni-commerce experiences
Leadership & Team Development
- Build, restructure, and upskill the e-commerce team (addressing weak performers)
- Set clear ownership and accountability across Director, Manager, and Marketplace functions
- Partner closely with Sales, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, and Customer Service leadership
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $110,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
