Role Summary
Our client is seeking a strategic and growth-focused Senior Marketing & Brand Strategy Leader- North America to lead marketing initiatives that clearly articulate its brand, product strengths, and value proposition. This role will drive brand strategy, market positioning, and customer engagement across digital, media, and industry channels. The ideal candidate will be both strategic and hands-on, translating product and company strategy into messaging that resonates with customers, partners, and stakeholders. This leader will grow and develop the marketing department, building a high-performing team and expanding capabilities to support the company’s long-term growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute marketing strategies to align with business objectives, emphasizing brand positioning, messaging, and market differentiation.
- Lead product launches with comprehensive go-to-market strategies that drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth.
- Partner with product teams to educate stakeholders on features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
- Conduct market and competitive research to inform strategy and keep the organization ahead of industry trends.
- Foster a high-performing marketing team by providing mentorship, professional development, and clear performance expectations.
- Develop and implement processes, tools, and frameworks to scale the marketing function effectively as the department grows.
- Drive cross-functional alignment with sales, product, and executive leadership to ensure consistent messaging and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and report on KPIs and drive measurable marketing impact across brand awareness, lead generation and conversion, media coverage, customer engagement, sentiment, marketing ROI and budget efficiency.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Influence stakeholders and drive consensus on strategic initiatives that impact revenue growth and brand positioning.
Core Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful B2B marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, lead generation, and market impact.
- Experience owning brand strategy and product marketing, driving market differentiation, positioning technical products effectively, and aligning messaging with customer needs and business objectives.
- Experience leading and scaling a marketing team, including mentoring and developing talent.
- Experience with digital marketing tools, including SEO, SEM, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms.
- Data analytics and reporting for marketing performance, campaign effectiveness, and ROI.
- Familiarity with industry-specific marketing practices, including trade shows, technical content, and industrial advertising.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
