Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Digital Marketing Manager/Manager of Performance Marketing to lead the strategy, execution and optimization of our digital marketing engine across Meta, Google and emerging paid channels. This role is a key driver of growth, accountable for performance outcomes, creative excellence and cross-functional leadership.
Reporting to the Director of Growth, this role partners closely with Leadership, Creative, CRM and external agency teams to scale efficient customer acquisition, deliver best-in-class creative, and shape how our brand shows up across the digital landscape. The ideal candidate blends curiosity, analytical rigor, channel expertise, and creative strategic insight—someone as comfortable inside Ads Manager as they are concepting breakthrough ad creatives.
This is a manager/senior-manager level role with ownership, autonomy and visibility across the organization. This role is fully remote with a strong preference for availability during core Pacific Coast working hours.
Responsibilities
- Own, execute and optimize the paid digital acquisition strategy across Meta (primary) and Google (primary), as well as secondary & emerging channels (TikTok, affiliate, display etc).
- Manage daily, weekly and monthly digital marketing & customer acquisition performance—budget allocation, creative development & deployment, reporting & insight feedback and KPI delivery.
- Identify growth opportunities through structured testing (creative, audience, bidding methods, landing pages) and clear test-and-learn roadmaps.
- Partner with the Director of Growth on holistic channel & creative planning, long-range strategy, and new channel testing.
- Act as a lead creative strategist for performance channels—developing messaging strategies, creative concepts, hooks, angles and copy rooted in data, insights & psychology.
- Manage and provide support for agency partners overseeing Amazon & marketplace channels.
- Lead and participate in weekly insight & feedback sessions, turning learnings into new concepts and repeatable formats.
- Oversee flawless execution of ads: copywriting, trafficking, QA, creative setup, naming conventions and overall accuracy of messaging & offers.
- Act as a strong project manager, clearly defining timelines, tasks & deliverables across teams to ensure results are delivered as planned.
- Actively seek out and apply new process management techniques to channels, especially in the area of AI development & execution.
Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience with direct ownership of Meta and Google performance channels focused on customer acquisition.
- Demonstrated success managing multi-million-dollar budgets with a track record of driving profitable growth.
- Strong creative instincts—able to write compelling copy, develop creative hypotheses, understand consumer psychology and partner with designers or creators to bring concepts to life.
- Deep understanding of ever-evolving paid social and paid search best practices, measurement frameworks, attribution nuances and platform capabilities.
- Experience developing and running structured creative testing programs with the ability to make basic creative edits and new concepts from provided assets.
- Highly organized operator able to manage complex workflows, deadlines and cross-functional stakeholders in platforms like Asana.
- Proficiency in Excel/Sheets (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and familiarity with GA4 and other analytics tools.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and speed matters.
- Must-Have Platform Experience: Meta, Google, Shopify
- Bonus Platform Experience: TikTok, TripleWhale or Northbeam, Impact (affiliate), Intelligems (A/B Testing), Pinterest, Outbrain/Taboola, DSP/display

Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000/year + bonus
