The SVP, Global Growth Marketing & Media is a senior executive responsible for driving integrated global growth strategies across media, digital performance, and consumer data. This leader will oversee how the company connects brands with consumers — through precision marketing, media investment frameworks, data-driven decisioning, and brand-building partnerships — to accelerate demand generation and capture, maximize ROI, and future-proof the company’s consumer engagement ecosystem.
This role will blend deep media expertise (particularly in paid and earned, with agency background) with strong data fluency to shape media investment decisions and steer the global agenda.
The ideal candidate is a modern marketing leader with deep expertise in global media strategy who will have oversight of the transition to a single Global Media agency. They will be an expert in data platforms, precision and performance marketing, and consumer analytics, and who can bridge creative storytelling with quantitative rigor.
Key Responsibilities
- Global Media Strategy, Planning & Buying
- Lead transition from multi-agency model from each Region to single global agency model.
- Lead Global Agency Partnership integration with our new Global Media Agency including transformation oversite, performance KPIs, joint business planning, and innovation initiatives.
- Create strategy for Media spend and ROI analysis and recommendations.
- Adept at partnering across business functions to ensure paid and earned media work cohesively with owned channels.
- Develop and operationalize a Global Media Framework balancing brand-building (upper funnel) and performance (lower funnel) objectives across digital, social, video, and experiential channels.
- Advise and influence media investment allocation across brands, regions, affiliates and channels to optimize ROI and brand equity.
- Establish Media Governance and Transparency Standards, ensuring alignment with global agency partners and brand teams.
- Precision Marketing & Performance Acceleration
- Build and scale Precision Marketing frameworks leveraging first-party and third-party data for personalized, real-time engagement.
- Drive Performance Marketing excellence through test-and-learn methodologies, conversion funnel optimization, and advanced attribution modeling.
- Partner with eCommerce and retail media teams to align paid performance strategies with digital commerce and omnichannel KPIs.
- Lead the global rollout of audience segmentation, predictive modeling, and marketing automation programs.
- Influencer & Creator Marketing
- Oversee the global influencer marketing strategy across brands and regions, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and growth goals.
- Build a Global Creator Framework defining tiers, compensation models, and performance tracking for influencer activations.
- Integrate influencer data into the broader consumer data ecosystem for more holistic audience understanding and ROI measurement.
- Foster long-term, values-driven relationships with key opinion leaders and emerging creators in beauty and lifestyle spaces.
- Partnerships & Ecosystem Management
- Oversee the integration with our new Global Media Agency
- Lead strategic Global Agency Relationships across media, analytics, and digital platforms — ensuring consistent execution and shared innovation.
- Develop co-marketing partnerships with major tech and retail media platforms (e.g., Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon, Sephora, Tmall).
- Create a governance structure for evaluating new MarTech, AdTech and data partnerships aligned with business priorities.
- Global Consumer Data Strategy & Standards
- Establish and enforce Global Consumer Data Standards ensuring consistency, compliance, and value creation across all brands and regions.
- Working closely with our Technology partners. Oversee the Business Requirements for the evolution and global integration of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) for unified consumer identity, segmentation, and activation.
- Define frameworks for Marketing and Assortment Planning grounded in consumer insight, behavioral data, and predictive analytics.
- Partner with Tech and CRM teams to enable a connected data ecosystem that powers personalization and decision-making.
- Ensure all consumer data strategies adhere to global privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and ethical data usage principles
Qualifications
- Proven ability to lead and influence across a complex, global matrix, balancing central strategy with local market activation.
- Experience in top global media agencies or major CPG/consumer brands with hybrid or externally managed media models.
- Background in high-volume, consumer-centric industries (beauty, beverage, alcohol, luxury, lifestyle) where brand storytelling, performance, and precision marketing coexist.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in global media, growth marketing, or digital performance with a strong track record of driving ROI.
- Deep expertise across paid media channels and familiarity with emerging platforms, creators, and retail media.
- Strong data fluency, including audience segmentation, attribution, and performance analytics.
- Experience partnering on or leading CDP, consumer data platform, or marketing data ecosystem integrations.
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong agency and vendor management experience, including defining KPIs and leading joint business planning.
- Understanding of global privacy regulations and their implications for marketing and measurement.
