PR/Marketing Internship Overview: This is a flexible part-time internship requiring 12 hours of work per week over a 12-week period, which can be completed remotely. If you have limited availability, you can advance your work to finish the program in fewer weeks.
The internship focuses on increasing awareness of our initiatives and includes:
- Developing an engaging branding campaign.
- Conducting informal focus groups to gather insights for market research.
- Pitching compelling story ideas to various media outlets.
- Creating and executing effective fundraising strategies.
- Planning and marketing an informational meeting while presenting key findings.
- Utilizing social media effectively and developing strategies for web-based messaging.
- Supporting The Borgen Project’s advocacy efforts.
Experience Requirements: No prior experience is needed; we value dedication and a strong desire to address poverty and injustice over GPAs or specific backgrounds.
Important Details: This internship is unpaid, but college credit can be offered.
Start Date: New programs commence every month; you can choose your desired start month.
