- *Key Responsibilities**:
Ecommerce Strategy Development
- Define and implement a comprehensive ecommerce strategy to enhance customer experience and drive sales growth
- Oversee the development, launch, and ongoing optimization of The Body Shop Canada's Shopify Plus platform
Sales Optimization
- Analyze digital sales performance metrics and customer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Implement best practices in digital merchandising, SEO, and customer engagement to drive conversion rates
Marketplace Management
- Lead the operation and growth of the Amazon marketplace, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy and performance goals
- Develop and execute promotional campaigns to maximize visibility and sales on the Amazon platform
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical guidance on ecommerce solutions, including website architecture, payment processing, and inventory management
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of all digital platforms
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing ecommerce and digital marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
- Mentor team members in digital marketing strategies, analytics, and ecommerce technologies
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure cohesive execution of ecommerce initiatives
- Engage with external partners and vendors to enhance platform capabilities and reach
Budget Management
- Develop and manage the ecommerce budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI on digital initiatives
- *Qualifications/Competencies**:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Proven experience in a digital leadership role, with a strong focus on ecommerce and marketplace operations
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- In-depth understanding of digital sales strategies, analytics, and performance metrics
- Experience in the beauty or retail industry is a plus
- Extensive experience launching and managing Shopify Plus platforms
- Strong technical background in web development, ecommerce technologies, and digital marketing tools
