Texas Tree Farms is a small, family-oriented company dedicated to providing quality trees and plants. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and organized individual to take ownership of our online presence, drive e-commerce growth, and streamline our customer experience both online and in person. We are seeking someone who can grow with us and help us reach the next level of customer engagement and sales.
Key Responsibilities
The Online Presence and E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our online sales channel and digital marketing efforts.
E-Commerce and Inventory Management
- Develop, maintain, and grow our online store presence, leveraging proven experience with the Shopify platform.
- Manage online and in-store inventory tracking, ensuring real-time accuracy and synchronization with physical stock.
- Write and maintain high-quality, detailed product descriptions and specifications for all online items.
- Continuously monitor product-market fit and demand, making necessary adjustments to online and in-store listings and inventory purchasing recommendations.
- Streamline and manage purchasing transactions to ensure a smooth, efficient customer experience from browsing to payment.
Marketing and Customer Engagement
- Develop and execute ongoing digital marketing strategies to bring in new customers and keep our current base updated and engaged.
- Manage communications regarding specials, new product arrivals, and helpful assistance via email, social media, and the website.
- Utilize a sales ability to convert traffic into successful purchases and customer loyalty.
- Analyze performance metrics and implement strategies for ongoing growth of our digital channel.
Operations and In-Person Support
- This is not a remote position. The role requires on-site presence to manage physical inventory, customer interactions and coordinate with the team. Customer interaction, combined in-store and online marketing and sales.
- Assist with in-person sales checkout and customer communications as needed, demonstrating a well-rounded and flexible approach.
- Ensure a streamline in-person transaction process that aligns with the online experience.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven, hands-on experience with the Shopify E-commerce platform is highly encouraged..
- Strong background in digital marketing and sales, with a clear ability to drive revenue growth.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous, detail-oriented mindset.
- Well-rounded individual with the ability to adjust and adapt to diverse daily tasks (from inventory to customer service).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-starter with a desire to take ownership and grow a company’s footprint.
