Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Marketing Project Coordinator for a major client in the energy and utilities sector. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in managing marketing and operational processes that directly influence customer engagement and satisfaction. The Marketing Project Coordinator will partner with IT, Marketing, and Operations to deliver seamless campaign execution for residential and small business market segments across the Texas ERCOT, East, and Canadian regions.
Responsibilities
- Develop timelines and oversee end-to-end delivery of acquisition and retention campaigns for retail energy customers.
- Coordinate campaign tasks, product launches, and marketing initiatives across departments.
- Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating when necessary to ensure timely solutions.
- Support new campaign development by designing operational processes, pricing strategies, and channel functionalities.
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for new marketing capabilities and improvements.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment on system and process changes to ensure successful project implementation.
- Monitor and evaluate campaign processes for optimization and automation opportunities.
- Deliver campaign status updates and performance insights through meetings and communications.
- Manage database solutions and process design for operational efficiency.
- Monitor customer communications to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Conduct quality assurance testing on campaign materials to ensure accuracy and functionality.
- Prepare and maintain reporting dashboards supporting campaign execution metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in operations, information systems, computer science, or a related field strongly preferred.
- 1–3 years of professional experience in marketing operations, business analysis, or campaign management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project).
- Experience with SAP/CRM systems preferred.
- Familiarity with the ERCOT, East, and Canadian energy retail markets and regulatory requirements a plus.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
