Job Summary

Precision Delivery is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner looking for enthusiastic team players to deliver Amazon packages. We deliver packages and smiles to people within our community daily. We're looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join our team, as a delivery driver, delivering Amazon packages. As a Delivery Associate for Precision Delivery, you will be on the front lines working directly with our customers and members of your community. It would be your job to exceed customer expectations and make sure all orders, large or small, are safely delivered on time and at the correct location.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles following all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
  • Climbing in and out of trucks, walking up and down stairs as required to deliver products according to established procedures in all weather conditions.
  • Interact in a positive and professional manner with customers and the general public while delivering products to customers' homes, retail and business locations.
  • Use handheld technology to delivery customer products, manage delivery progress, and solve obstacles.
  • Ensure delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good condition at all times.
  • Uphold medical card paperwork
  • Adhere to all DOT on the road standards
  • May assist in training other team members.
  • Lift, bend, reach above head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 10 hours long.
  • Lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 100 pounds each.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with knowledge of route driving best practices.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients and team members.
  • Experience operating box trucks, manual transmission vehicles, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to loading/unloading cargo safely.
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial driving.
  • Excellent driving record with a valid driver’s license suitable for driver classification.

Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 21 or older.
  • Be able to pass a drug test.
  • Current Medical DOT Certificate or willing to obtain.
  • Be proficient in English sufficient to meet US DOT standard of ability to read road signs and communicate with regulatory personnel.
  • Valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
  • Ability to operate and navigate a medium or large box truck.
  • Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.
  • Lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to load and unload packages to be delivered.
  • Work at least one weekend day each week.
