**1.0 **Scope for the position**
The Digital Channel Manager is a key role that shapes the creation and execution of the strategies driving the eCommerce sales channel. In addition to growing revenue within existing relationships, the Digital Channel Manager will develop new model strategies, create cross-departmental and cross-company synergies and provide actionable insights identifying opportunities to improve business results and conducting the necessary due diligence/analysis to demonstrate viability.
- *2.0 **Basic function of the position**:
- Measure results and take action accordingly
- Review and make recommendations on channel growth opportunities through existing and new model relationships
- Explore synergies throughout North American company presence
- Develop integrated strategies with marketing leveraging the uniqueness of eCommerce in a way that complements the brick and mortar channel
- Develop and present category and consumer insights cross-departmentally to assist planning and adaptation
- Develop a long-term department growth strategy
- Supervise and support the eCommerce Specialist in these core areas:
- Account Management and administration with Amazon.ca, Well.ca, VitaMart.ca and others
- Product selection and launch timelines
- Digital content requirements and cross-promotional channels and/or platforms
- Development and sharing of forecast with production
- *3.0 **Duties and Responsibilities**:
- With high ethics and servant leadership, support direct team member(s) and colleagues with the resources, tools and support they need to be successful
- Expedite sales growth with key digital partners including Amazon.ca, Well.ca, VitaMart.ca and others
- Develop and present a business proposal on a D2C model
- Explore and develop a business proposal for third party sales platform integration
- Build relationship with eCommerce counterparts throughout the greater company to leverage knowledge and explore growth opportunities/synergies
- Develop category and consumer insight presentations for category management, marketing and product development
- Proactively communicate cross-departmentally the current and future requirements of product, logistics, technology, etc.
- Create and own department budget
- *4.0 **Required qualifications, education, experience, training, skills, background, certifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree, or relevant post-secondary education
- Strong desire to succeed, a future oriented thinker and drives change
- 4+ years of experience working in an eCommerce environment with a demonstrated understanding
- Experience in the food or natural health products (NHP) sector nice to have
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with reviewing large spreadsheets with data/SKUS
- Access to reliable transportation
