Ecommerce Development Manager

**Responsibilities**

• Lead our eCommerce platform efforts and build an eventual team of in-house front-end developers and designers.
• Responsible for all digital customer facing platforms & systems.
• Monitor and follow eCommerce trends and implement the best technology infrastructure that meet our business strategy.
• Coordinate the efforts with other operation and marketing stakeholders
• Provide technical expertise and contribute to the maintenance and launch of the brands websites.
• Act as a technical partner for the brands. Liaise with key stakeholders on roadmap execution and understand requirements translating them into technical specifications and proposing technical solutions.
• Experience in e-commerce specifically, and/or an understanding of the core UX/UI concepts that will help develop a delightful web experience that’s highly optimized for conversion and retention.
• Develop our next-generation eCommerce platform and validate the feasibility of UX/UI design concepts, providing technical consultation to design teams.
• Working with our UX designer at implementing new features and improving UI/UX on existing Shopify themes using best practices, incl. Image optimization and site mapping, while ensuring consistency across multiple brands.
• Build and maintain eCommerce stores developed within the Shopify framework.
• Integrate best SEO practices into the front-end
• Monitor site performance and made well informed decisions about optimization and restructuring
• Improved business processes by delivering global solutions for Sales, Visual Merchandising, Marketing and CRM.
• Review the eCommerce platform and architecture to recommend effective options for implementing business functionality.
• Collaborate with the Nolk team to best understand business-side requirements and participate in finding effective solutions.
• Lead quality control activities and establish testing processes and standards.
• Work closely with the Chief Brand Officer, UX designer, brand designer and Brand GM’s, and stakeholders throughout the business to discuss technical aspects of projects and advice on solutions.
• Utilize your expertise to engage in and enhance the lifecycle of eCommerce stores, from prototyping, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
• Serve as the primary point-of-contact for websites and shopify technical matters related to the project.
• Actively participate in the analysis, design, development, testing of changes, and additions to all systems.
• Operate in an environment where ambitious projects are financially feasible
• *Qualifications**
• Proficiency in English
• Excellent verbal communication skills (English), especially when articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• 5+ years experience in Front End development, or e-commerce store management
• Knowledge of the following systems:
• HTML, SCSS/CSS, Javascript, Typescript
• Low-code, and experience with APIs
• Version-control (Git, Github)
• Experience with an A/B testing/CRO platform like Google Optimize
• Experience with mobile first and responsive design
• Experience with Google analytics, Figma, Klaviyo and google cloud platforms is a plus.
• Experience with Shopify and ShopifyPlus
• Able to work independently and in a team environment while interacting across different groups to accomplish projects.
• A good eye for design and detail

• Strong problem-solving skills and capable of bringing new ideas to the table.
