We are a values-driven, education-first sleep brand built on trust, service, and long-term relationships. Our social presence is a direct extension of our in-store experience: warm, thoughtful, premium, and human.

We are hiring a Senior Lead Social Media Manager to take ownership of our social strategy and execution as we scale our flagship store, prepare for expansion, and continue building a trusted local and regional brand.

This is an in-house, hands-on role for someone who can lead without micromanagement, execute with excellence, and move projects forward.

The Role

This role owns social media from strategy through execution. You will plan, create, publish, and optimize content that drives awareness, trust, and in-store traffic—while also supporting new initiatives, partnerships, and brand growth.

You will be on-site regularly to capture video and photo content, collaborate with leadership, and bring ideas to life quickly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, and emerging short-form platforms
  • Create and publish short-form video (Reels, Shorts) that is educational, engaging, and brand-aligned
  • Capture in-store video and photography (team, product education, guest experience, behind-the-scenes)
  • Plan and manage a content calendar aligned with store priorities, promotions, and launches
  • Support brand initiatives including new store launches, partnerships, and special projects
  • Monitor performance, engagement, and trends; adjust strategy based on results
  • Collaborate with leadership on messaging, campaigns, and long-term brand direction
  • Ensure all content reflects Mattress Lux’s tone: premium, warm, trustworthy, and non-pushy

Compensation & Structure

  • Part-time, hourly position

Location

This is a fully in-house role based in Kennesaw, GA. Local presence is required for filming, collaboration, and project execution.
