We are looking for a passionate and creative Digital Media & Equipment Summer Intern to join our team. This position is ideal for a university-aged individual (up to 30 years old) with a heart for ministry, media, and community service.
- *Position Overview**:
Under the direction of the ministry, worship, and digital media teams, the Digital Media & Equipment Summer Intern, will play a vital role in supporting our church’s media needs and assisting with children and youth programs. This co-op position is contingent upon grant eligibility and is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and faith-centered environment.
- *Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities will encompass a wide range of duties, including but not limited to**:
- Assist in the planning, production, and execution of digital media content, including video, photography, and live stream services.
- Manage and maintain audio, visual, and lighting equipment for Sunday services and special events.
- Capture and edit engaging content for social media, newsletters, and the church website.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues with media equipment.
- Support the creative development of multimedia presentations for church services and events.
- Collaborate with the ministry team to support children's and youth programming and activities.
- Coordinate with our Community Engagement team to develop, assist and present community programs, activities and services.
- Other duties as assigned to support church activities and outreach.
- *Qualifications**:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program in a relevant field of study, such as digital media, communications, broadcasting, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency or a strong interest in mastering digital media platforms and engaging with various social media platforms, coupled with a passion for audio visual and media environments, or a strong desire to develop expertise in these domains.
- A strong interest in serving children and youth, coupled with a desire to engage with individuals of all age groups.
- Proficient written and verbal communication abilities.
- Adeptness at collaborating within a team-oriented environment.
- Proven self-motivation and initiative.
- The availability to work on Sundays is a must.
