Social Media Specialist (In-House)

They are seeking a Social Media Specialist to manage social media execution, contribute to content creation, and enhance brand presence across various platforms.
Responsibilities
- Owning day-to-day social media execution across assigned client accounts
- Managing and refining content calendars to ensure strategic alignment and consistency
- Writing, editing, and approving captions that reflect brand voice and platform nuance
- Contributing to content ideation and helping shape compelling, platform-native content
- Supporting and, when appropriate, creating original social content including short-form video concepts, captions, and simple visual storytelling
- Collaborating closely with creative, PR, and account teams to align messaging and timing
- Monitoring engagement, comments, and messages and responding or escalating appropriately
- Identifying performance trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Supporting influencer, partnership, and campaign activations
- Ensuring all content is accurate, approved, and intentional before publishing
- Maintaining clean documentation, approvals, and content libraries
- Assisting with performance reporting, insights, and recommendations
- Staying current on platform changes, algorithm shifts, and best practices

- 3 to 5 years of hands-on social media experience preferred
- Experience managing multiple brands or accounts simultaneously
- Experience with short-form video, reels, stories, or platform-native formats is a strong plus
- Agency or integrated marketing experience is a plus
