**Freelance Marketing Specialist (Part-Time, Short-Term / Project-Based)**

• *Location**: London, ON (Flexible/Remote)
• *Hourly Rate**: $25-35/hr. Higher pay offered based on experience and proven track record. Pay structure will mostly be project-based, but aim to reflect this rate.
• *Who we are**: Hot Oven is an established, 25-year-old bakery in Covent Garden Market in the heart of London, Ontario. We specialize in burek, a phyllo dough pasty. We've built a loyal and considerable customer base through this niche, quality product with almost no marketing. Now, we're ready to expand our reach and bring our unique product to a wider audience.
• *Position Overview**: This is a part-time, project-based role with potential for collaboration on future marketing projects. We're looking for a creative and experienced marketing freelancer to help us build and grow Hot Oven's brand.
• *Hours**: 8-20 hours per week. Flexible schedule and mostly remote work.
• *Responsibilities**:
• **Brand Development**: Develop and refine Hot Oven’s brand identity, ensuring it resonates with our target audience.
• **Logo Redesign**: Oversee a logo design project that captures our bakery’s unique appeal.
• **Social Media Management, Content planning, and Storytelling**: Handle our Instagram and Facebook accounts: focusing on follower growth and engagement, planning content creation, and reaching our audience through effective storytelling about our specialty product.
• **Website Branding**: Work with a web developer to ensure our brand identity is consistently represented on our website. Opportunity to oversee website development project if experienced in web development.
• **SEO (preferred)**: Optimize website and social media content to improve online search visibility.
• **Creative Marketing Projects**: Plan and execute creative marketing campaigns, brainstorm and discuss new project ideas.
• *Ideal Skills**:
• Proficiency in social media marketing, particularly Instagram
• Strong content creation skills, including graphics and video production
• SEO expertise to enhance content visibility
• Creative thinking to produce engaging and shareable content
