Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised E-Commerce Manager to oversee and optimise our online retail platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective digital strategies to enhance our online presence, drive sales, and improve customer engagement. Duties

  • Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies across multiple digital channels, including website, social media, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Manage and update the company’s website using content management systems such as WordPress, ensuring content is current, engaging, and optimised for search engines (SEO).
  • Utilise SEO techniques to improve organic search rankings and increase website traffic.
  • Oversee social media marketing efforts, including content creation, scheduling, and community management across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Analyse website performance using tools such as Google Analytics to identify opportunities for optimisation and growth.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers to produce high-quality visual content using Adobe Creative Suite or Adobe Photoshop.
  • Create compelling copy for product descriptions, blogs, newsletters, and promotional materials aligned with brand voice and content marketing strategies.
  • Implement email marketing campaigns to nurture customer relationships and promote new products or offers.
  • Manage photography and video editing projects to produce engaging visual content that supports brand storytelling.
  • Monitor industry trends in B2B marketing and e-commerce best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in the digital landscape.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, customer service, and logistics to ensure seamless online shopping experiences.

Skills

  • Proven expertise in SEO optimisation techniques and social media management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of content management systems such as WordPress; familiarity with HTML and CSS is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) alongside video editing software.
  • Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to craft persuasive product descriptions and engaging blog posts.
  • Experience in graphic design principles applicable to digital marketing campaigns.
  • Analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics for tracking performance metrics.
  • Ability to develop compelling content strategies tailored to target audiences across multiple platforms.
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) for campaign execution.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in B2B marketing environments is desirable but not essential. This role is ideal for a proactive individual passionate about e-commerce innovation who thrives in a fast-paced digital environment. Pay: £13.00-£18.00 per hour
