The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies that engage GAFP members, promote family medicine, and enhance the organization's online presence. This role involves creating compelling content, managing digital campaigns, and overseeing social media and website content to strengthen GAFP’s visibility and member engagement. The Digital Marketing Specialist will collaborate across departments to execute integrated marketing plans and ensure the success of digital initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to increase member engagement and promote GAFP’s events, programs, and initiatives.
- Manage GAFP’s social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and performance tracking.
- Optimize the GAFP website to improve user experience, SEO, and content relevance.
- Create and execute email marketing campaigns to keep members informed and engaged.
- Content Creation & Design:
- Write and design digital content, including newsletters, blogs, social media posts, and promotional materials.
- Produce graphics and visuals for digital campaigns using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure digital content aligns with GAFP’s mission and messaging.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns using web analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.).
- Provide regular performance reports, including insights on engagement, conversion, and website traffic, and suggest improvements.
- Monitor digital trends and adapt strategies to optimize campaign results.
- Collaboration & Project Management:
- Work with the Executive Vice President and other departments to align marketing efforts with GAFP’s goals.
- Support the marketing needs of key programs and events, including the creation of targeted campaigns and promotional content.
- Assist in the planning and execution of the organization’s outreach efforts, including member recruitment and event promotion.
- Member Engagement:
- Develop and implement strategies to foster ongoing member engagement through digital platforms, ensuring consistent communication and value for GAFP members.
- Regularly engage with members via email, social media, and online communities to encourage participation in events, webinars, and educational initiatives.
- Create targeted campaigns that highlight member benefits, success stories, and opportunities for professional development.
- Use analytics and feedback to identify engagement trends and member needs, and recommend strategies for improving retention and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Membership Department to create personalized outreach efforts to re-engage inactive members and attract new ones.
- Track member engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of outreach initiatives and refine strategies accordingly.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in digital marketing, including social media management, email campaigns, and content creation.
- Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and WordPress.
- Experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media metrics, etc.) and the ability to interpret data for decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on creating clear, engaging content.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A creative mindset with the ability to bring innovative ideas to the organization’s digital marketing efforts.
- Experience in the healthcare or non-profit sector is a plus.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Benefits: Health insurance, matching 401(k), paid time off
- Work Schedule: Hybrid (office-based in Tucker, GA, with some flexibility for remote work)
