Looking for an exciting opportunity to develop and execute impactful marketing strategies? As the Vice President of Marketing Strategy, you will be a vital member of our leadership team, serving as a key strategic business partner in driving engagement and growth for our organization. Your mission will be to create and implement innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with our members and the broader healthcare IT industry.
You will leverage various digital platforms and coordinate with our talented marketing, communications, digital media, and creative teams to enhance our messaging and outreach efforts. In collaboration with senior leadership and the CDMO, your goal will be to proactively market all program initiatives on behalf of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute high-impact marketing campaigns that effectively engage our audience and align with business objectives.
- Create compelling content and themes for campaigns using diverse assets like email, graphics, videos, and social media.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess content needs and develop tailored marketing tactics and strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with various stakeholders to create cohesive marketing campaigns.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing, collaborative team across brand, creative design, communications, and project management.
- Establish metrics and benchmarks to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs, presenting insights to the executive team.
- Translate marketing goals into actionable plans with measurable results, working closely with departmental leaders.
- Develop integrated marketing plans that enhance brand awareness and generate audience demand.
- Innovate and implement marketing campaigns across existing and emerging channels.
- Streamline the marketing campaign development process, maintaining an organized campaign calendar and tracking progress.
- Create and oversee an audience growth strategy to establish our position as a leader in the digital health industry.
- Ensure consistent brand positioning across all marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to support content creation for various marketing projects and events.
- Utilize data analytics to refine content strategies and improve campaign performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience with proven success in strategy execution.
- 5+ years in managing marketing, communications, and/or creative teams.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with digital marketing and social media platforms.
- 3+ years in developing content and campaign strategies within the healthcare or technology sectors.
- Experience with email campaign management and automation.
- 1+ year of maintaining or editing content on a Contentful website, with familiarity of Google Analytics.
- Proven experience as a Marketing Vice President or in a similar leadership role.
- Preferred experience in a marketing agency or consultative environment.
- Skilled in using project management tools like Asana, Trello, or Jira.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, member-focused non-profit environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across teams.
- Self-motivated with a positive, energetic attitude.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
This is a remote-based position with some travel required. Candidates must be located in the United States.
