Digital Technology and Marketing Coordinator - Contract

Blonyx is a North Vancouver-based sports nutrition brand for people with athletic ambition. We provide performance products to ambitious athletes of all sports across N. America and the UK, but with a particular focus on the pacific northwest.

Our mission is to help as many people as possible achieve their athletic ambition. This goes beyond the products we sell as we offer an industry-leading sports nutrition experience entirely focused on helping the athletes we serve.

We are currently searching for a contract Digital Technology and Marketing Coordinator to help us execute a 3-month digital overhaul plan.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Working as part of our marketing team, the role will involve the following:

Overhauling our digital ad campaigns and product listings (Amazon and google), and building new ones with the aim of increasing awareness of the Blonyx brand and products.
Executing SEO suggestions, and working on a strategy sketch for future SEO work
Helping with research into PR channels and opportunities
Execute the set up and incorporate new digital systems (CRM, Marketing automation etc.) into our business
Work to optimize our data, web, e-commerce and other technology systems under guidance from the operations manager.

Qualifications, skills and experience

A degree in marketing, business or another digital/technical discipline (applicants without must demonstrate applied experience in this field)

Proven experience and expertise in SaaS, e-commerce, digital marketing or programming/web development

Excellent understanding of digital ad strategy ideally on Facebook, Google and Amazon an asset.

Experience with SEO that has led to proven results to increase web traffic and brand awareness

SALARY, CONTRACT LENGTH AND HOW TO APPLY - PLEASE READ

*Salary**: $7,500 for a 10 week full-time contract. This can be part-time over a longer period if desired.

This role will ideally require you to be in our North Vancouver office 1 day a week to spend time with the team in person. We will consider someone entirely remote, however.

After spending years conducting research on sports supplements Rowan was shocked to discover how many low-quality, un-tested products were on the market. Being an athlete Rowan understood the trust athletes place in supplement brands to help them achieve their goals, so set out to create a brand that respected that trust and provided products focused entirely on improving or supporting performance.
