  • *About the Position**:

The Manager, Digital Transformation will lead a team tasked with working with various departments in digitally transforming processes, data analytics and technology-supported operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, improve service experiences, and reduce organizational risks.

  • *Some specific duties**:
  • Advance digital transformation through enterprise-wide strategy definition and program execution (e.g., product strategy, external partnerships, operating model evolution)
  • Develop, communicate, and pilot innovative opportunities thought leadership and business cases to senior leaders to inform decision-making.
  • Deliver quality services. Value and model excellent service through needs assessments, gaining consensus on goals and implementation plans to achieve high-quality deliverables and within expected timeframes.
  • Monitor progress, manage risk and confirm key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
  • Lead the Digital Transformation team (including Business Intelligence) to develop a robust pipeline of strategic process improvement initiatives across multiple streams and departments.
  • Oversee reviews of key processes, ensuring the process and productivity strategies are well developed, articulated, and aligned across departments and with organization strategic priorities.
  • Support senior leaders, functions and cross-functional project teams with insights based on thorough research and analysis.
  • Stay up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Act as liaison between BC SPCA and third-party vendors for RFPs, development requests and the implementation of solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership and innovation in digital transformation and data analytics strategic planning.
  • Support the annual budget forecast process for Digital Transformation roadmaps and projects.
  • Responsible for championing and maintaining the BC SPCA Project Management and Business Analysis frameworks.
  • Member of the Technology Governance Committee representing the Digital Transformation team.
  • Deliver targeted stakeholder presentations, dashboards, and data visualizations that surface key observations, learnings, and recommendations
  • Lead large-scale digital transformation change initiatives; introduce & champion adoption of new tools, new processes, and new capabilities as it relates to technology
  • Create, develop, and deploy a suite of functional performance dashboards to drive internal organizational performance management.
  • *Qualifications you need to have**:
  • Degree in Business or related discipline plus minimum of 8 years’ related experience, at least 3 of which must include people management. Related experience includes but is not limited to:

o. End-to-end technology solution and roadmap definition experience: working with technology, business, and privacy stakeholders to define interlocking technology roadmaps, from initial visioning and requirements gathering through benchmarking, solutioning, planning and justification.

p. Software delivery leadership experience planning, leading, or supporting technology delivery transformations targeting Agile methodologies.

  • Deep analytically anchored problem-solving skills, with a solid background working with data, conducting analysis, interpreting results, and writing reports/presentations.
  • Strong change agent, with proven record of engaging colleagues, business partners, external stakeholders, and teams to deliver on a shared / common goal
  • Ability to interact, listen, influence and partner in a professional and engaging manner with all levels of staff at BCSPCA.
  • Proven critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Ability to organize, set priorities, complete tasks, and meet deadlines with mínimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Master communicator and collaborator with strong verbal and written communication skills, including powerful presentations and key messaging for a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Philosophical harmony with the vision, mission, and strategic direction of the organization.
  • Additional qualifications/experience that would be considered assets include:
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®), Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA®) designation, certification
  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodology
  • Managing remote/hybrid teams
  • Work experience
