Amazon MGM Studios are seeking a seasoned, strategic, and highly collaborative Senior International Marketing Executive to join our team. This role serves as the key deputy and trusted right hand to the Head of International Marketing, helping to support and lead international campaign strategy and execution from the Los Angeles office. This pivotal role will serve as a key liaison between the domestic marketing functions and the international marketing leadership. The role requires a deep understanding of global theatrical film marketing and the ability to interpret and adapt marketing strategies for diverse international territories. The role does not cover the Korea market.

Key job responsibilities

Serve as a senior international marketing voice within the U.S.-based marketing team, ensuring that global needs are considered and integrated into domestic planning and execution. Partner closely with the Head of International Marketing to shape, adapt, and localize campaign strategies across the full slate of films. Support the Head of International Marketing when needed on LA time zone — in high-level meetings, cross-functional collaborations, and communications with internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate effectively with teams across creative, media, publicity, research, digital, and distribution to align international perspectives with overall campaign execution. Provide strategic input to global marketing campaign development, identifying potential opportunities and challenges for international adaptation. Build strong relationships with filmmakers, senior executives, and regional or local marketing leads, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and diplomatic skill in complex organizational settings. Troubleshoot issues and offer thoughtful, solutions-oriented guidance with an eye toward maintaining alignment between domestic and international teams. Serve as a sounding board and trusted partner for internal and external stakeholders regarding international campaign planning and execution. Drive cross-platform marketing integration across Amazon's ecosystem, aligning theatrical campaigns with Prime Video, Music, Publishing, and other divisions to maximize synergy and ancillary content opportunities. Liaise regularly with the international sub-distribution vendor, supporting their execution of local marketing campaigns and ensuring access to appropriate assets, information, and strategic direction. Additional special projects as necessary including planning for annual international theatrical summit.

Basic Qualifications

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) Experience communicating results to senior leadership Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams 10+ years of relevant experience in theatrical film marketing, with significant exposure to international campaigns. Strong understanding of how marketing strategies and creative assets must be nuanced and adapted for global territories. Proven track record of working across complex, matrixed organizations — including film, streaming, and/or technology environments. Excellent communicator with the ability to engage with filmmakers, senior executives, and teams across all levels and disciplines.

Sharp strategic thinker with the presence, maturity, and confidence to represent the international marketing function at the highest levels. Demonstrated leadership, influence, and collaboration skills, even in roles without direct team management.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
