E-Commerce Manager Role
- Lead digital merchandising and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) for DTC channel
- Create high-impact merchandising strategies across homepage, collection, and product detail pages
- Work with Creative, Product, Marketing, and UX teams to maximize findability and elevate path-to-purchase
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end merchandising strategy across site taxonomy, navigation, filters, and product organization
- Manage product lifecycle online, including SKU setup, enrichment, categorization, cross-sells/upsells, and asset management
- Coordinate merchandising for seasonal launches, sitewide promos, and new product rollouts
- Develop and execute CRO strategies across site funnels using insights from tools like GA4, Hotjar, and Shopify analytics
Cross-Functional Leadership & Quality Control
- Work with Creative and Content teams to ensure merchandising assets are consistent with brand standards and support user journey
- Conduct regular QA/UAT to maintain accuracy of content, product data, SEO tags, and technical functionality across mobile and desktop
Requirements
- 4–6 years of eCommerce site merchandising and/or CRO experience, preferably with digitally native or DTC brand
- Strong command of Shopify Plus and proficiency with testing and analytics tools like GA4, Looker Studio, Hotjar, VWO, or Optimizely
- Deep understanding of digital shopping behavior, funnel optimization, UX principles, and data interpretation
