Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze marketing data (e.g., customer segmentation, churn prediction, lifetime value, campaign attribution). Design and execute A/B tests and other experimental designs to measure the impact of marketing initiatives. Extract, clean, and transform large, complex datasets from various sources for analysis. Build dashboards and visualizations to communicate key marketing insights and performance metrics to stakeholders. Collaborate closely with marketing teams to understand their needs and translate business questions into analytical frameworks. Identify key drivers of customer behavior and provide data-driven recommendations for optimizing marketing spend and strategy. Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and marketing analytics techniques. Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance marketing analytics capabilities. Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the growth of the data science function. Present complex analytical findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, with a significant focus on marketing analytics. Proven expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy). Experience with SQL and database management. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Strong understanding of marketing principles, customer behavior, and campaign performance metrics. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver high-quality results in a remote environment. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
