Our client is a fast-growing direct-to-consumer brand seeking a dynamic and results-oriented E-commerce & Social Media Marketing Manager to drive online sales and brand engagement. This role is based in **Detroit, Michigan, US**, with a hybrid work arrangement offering a blend of office and remote flexibility. The E-commerce & Social Media Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies to enhance online presence, optimize the e-commerce platform, and leverage social media channels to drive traffic, conversions, and customer loyalty. You will manage all aspects of the e-commerce operations, including website merchandising, product management, promotional campaigns, and customer journey optimization. On the social media front, you will develop engaging content strategies, manage social media advertising campaigns, monitor social trends, and foster community engagement across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, digital marketing principles, and social media marketing trends. Proven experience in managing Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms, along with expertise in social media advertising tools (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads) is essential. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret website analytics and social media metrics to inform strategy, are crucial. You will work closely with creative teams, content creators, and other marketing stakeholders to ensure cohesive brand messaging and campaign execution. A passion for building brands online, a creative mindset, and a data-driven approach are highly valued. Responsibilities: Develop and implement integrated e-commerce and social media marketing strategies. Manage and optimize the company's e-commerce website for user experience and conversion. Oversee website merchandising, product listings, and promotional campaigns. Develop and execute social media content calendars and posting schedules. Manage and optimize paid social media advertising campaigns across various platforms. Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and audience engagement. Foster community engagement and respond to customer inquiries on social channels. Analyze website traffic, sales data, and social media metrics to measure campaign performance. Identify opportunities for A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO). Collaborate with internal teams (creative, content, product) to ensure brand consistency. Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce and social media marketing tools and best practices. Manage email marketing campaigns and customer segmentation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in e-commerce and social media marketing. Proven experience managing e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce). Expertise in social media marketing strategies and paid social advertising. Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing analytics. Proficiency with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools. Excellent content creation and copywriting skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with email marketing platforms is a plus. Creative thinking and a passion for digital brand building. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
