Our client, a fast-growing e-commerce brand specializing in curated lifestyle products, is seeking a creative and results-driven E-commerce Marketing Manager to lead their social media and content strategy in Des Moines, Iowa, US . This role is pivotal in driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and online sales through compelling digital content and strategic social media campaigns. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of e-commerce marketing, social media platforms, content creation, and data analytics. This hybrid position allows for effective collaboration with the marketing team while offering remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce marketing strategy focused on social media and content creation to drive traffic, conversions, and customer loyalty. Manage all aspects of the company's social media presence across relevant platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn), including content planning, posting, and community management. Create and curate engaging, high-quality content (visuals, videos, written copy) that aligns with brand voice and resonates with target audiences. Develop and implement content calendars, ensuring a consistent flow of relevant and timely content. Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns, optimizing for performance and ROI. Analyze social media and website traffic data using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and e-commerce platforms to measure campaign effectiveness and identify trends. Collaborate with the product development and design teams to ensure marketing materials accurately represent product features and benefits. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging social media best practices to inform strategy. Manage influencer marketing collaborations and partnerships. Contribute to overall e-commerce strategy, including website optimization and email marketing efforts. Report on key marketing metrics and campaign performance to senior management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in e-commerce marketing, with a strong focus on social media and content strategy. Proven experience managing and growing social media channels for a brand or e-commerce business. Excellent content creation skills, including copywriting, basic graphic design, and video editing capabilities. Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics). Strong understanding of SEO principles and their application in content marketing. Experience with paid social advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads). Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive marketing decisions. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Creative thinking and a passion for digital marketing and e-commerce trends. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
