Our client, a dynamic and innovative media agency located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, US , is seeking a creative and data-driven Digital Media Strategist to lead the development and execution of cutting-edge digital marketing campaigns. This role is integral to shaping our clients' online presence, driving engagement, and achieving measurable results across various digital channels. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the digital landscape, a passion for storytelling, and a proven ability to translate client objectives into successful strategies.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive digital media strategies tailored to client goals, target audiences, and budgets. Manage and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other relevant channels. Conduct keyword research, audience segmentation, and A/B testing to maximize campaign performance and ROI. Oversee the creation and execution of engaging content for social media, blogs, email marketing, and other digital touchpoints. Monitor digital marketing trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to ensure strategies remain current and effective. Analyze campaign data and performance metrics, generating regular reports and insights for clients and internal teams. Collaborate with creative, content, and development teams to ensure seamless campaign execution. Manage client relationships, providing strategic guidance and clear communication on campaign progress and outcomes. Identify opportunities for new client acquisition and growth through strategic recommendations. Stay abreast of SEO best practices and implement strategies to improve organic search rankings. Develop and manage digital advertising budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Measure and report on the effectiveness of all digital marketing campaigns against KPIs. Contribute to the overall strategic planning and growth of the agency's digital media services. Present strategies and results to clients in a compelling and clear manner. Lead brainstorming sessions for new campaign ideas and digital initiatives. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in digital media planning and buying, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns. Proven expertise in managing paid social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns. Proficiency with digital marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics). Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems is a plus. Strong understanding of SEO, content marketing, email marketing, and social media strategy. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication, presentation, and client management abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment. Creative mindset with a strong understanding of brand storytelling. Certification from Google Ads or Facebook Blueprint is highly desirable. Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
