As an award-winning digital product consultancy and the digital division of TELUS, one of Canada’s largest telecommunications providers, we design and deliver transformative customer experiences through cutting-edge technology, agile thinking, and a people-first culture.

Location & Flexibility

Our interns are integral parts of our teams at TELUS Digital. To help retain our deep culture of collaboration, our interns maintain an in-office presence in a hybrid capacity (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays). This role can be located in Charlottesville, VA or Durham, NC.

The Opportunity

Our Business Development & Commercial Strategy organization rallies around three distinct areas in the client journey map: Prospecting, Pursuit, and Expansion. A few responsibilities across our team include: identifying new relationships and digital opportunities across multiple verticals, nurturing ongoing relationships with client partners, writing proposals, pitching our services to prospective clients, helping to shape the client's digital ecosystem, and more. Our summer program gives interns the chance to innovate by contributing ideas and adding a new perspective to meaningful client projects. To make sure you’re advancing in your craft, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to learn from fellow team members by discussing the latest trends in tech or gaining insights about creative methods of client engagement.

Not only that, but you’ll have snacks galore, and plenty of chances to socialize with your fellow interns — including fun outings during work hours. We’ll have you with us full-time (think 40 hours a week for approx. 11 weeks) and yes, it is definitely paid. Not a bad gig, right?

We understand our responsibility to create a diverse, equitable, and inclusive place within the tech industry, while pushing to make our industry more representative. Because of this responsibility, we need candidates who value diversity and inclusion through their work, team collaboration, or involvement in student organizations.
